new D4 on strike.....
heya,
so 2 days ago i came out in the morning.....battery dead....
had someone come over to jump start it and it recharged battery within an hour or so.
this morning i come out, it starts (which is almost a miracle) but nav unit black, seat heating f"**ç, etc etc etc.... + gearbox fault + engine light....
so it got dropped off at LR, who claim it lost all programming and it takes them at least 2 days to fix
bear in mind the car has a mere 1000 miles on it.... why cant they let the germans take care of their electronics ?? at least then it would work....

I assume they've given you a suitable replacement. 2 days in LR speak is middle to end of next week.

Understood re cars but if you have one if theirs it focuses their attention on getting yours fixed as others are after the loaner.

partial good news......
LR have been able to revive the nav unit radio etc. still the seat heating and the aux heater thingy
wont come back to life. i was told the aux heat never worked in the 1st place...
but apart from a malfunctioning car i have the feeling my car is in professional hands now. i brought
it to Emil Frey in Münchenstein Switzerland (for all swiss users out there)
Can only recommend their service and the head tech even wanted the link to this site so he could
go check out the upgrades mentioned in another thread.
