Matt
Have been following the thread/s for months- you did an amazing job on the D3 - Landrover should be selling
a factory 'sport/HST' version. Going to buy the LRM mag today.
Will you post details of your next project, would love to follow it.
Did you do most of the mechanical work and just get help with the body / painting?
I used to buy light damaged Jaguars about 10 years ago now, get them professionally repaired and sell on, the only problem is the cost of labour when using quality people to do the work means that you dont really make much and people get very anxious about buying crash damaged vehicles.
I am just looking into geting the phantom kit for my d3, a friend can get the parts heavily discounted, how hard is the front bumber to fit?
Anyway, all the best and thanks again for posting the d3 build photos and notes.

Here at BBS HQ, we have a conference room that doubles as a dinner time diner, where we all gather round the big center table at dinner time and chat as we eat our lunches. In the middle of the table is always a small pile of the latest LR magazines, that we get sent as freebies in order to try and persuade us to advertise in them.
Less than a couple of days ago, i was browsing through the same old magazine i had for the last week or so and got to thinking, i had not seen any Mag with the article Matt mentioned on here.
But today, there was the new March 2010 LRM magazine with it in and i had to pull rank to make sure i got to read it first. Some days it's good to be the boss
What can i say chap, but my heartiest congratulations and well done, its a total credit to you, and you really do deserve every word of recognition for your achievement that we on here have all seen you go through from start to finish. And on that note i should also add how nice it was for you to share the day to day aspects of your project with us on here too.
I noticed the mention of the MSV-2 and BBS, which you already told me about, and of course, i thank you most graciously for that. But in particular, it is most note worthy and commendable that you gave so much positive re enforcement of this forum and the value of it to any and all Disco 3 owners.
