Isn't it a shame we all have to disclaim ourselves from brilliant ideas because of the possibility of someone trying to do something beyond their ability or simply making a mistake. If you try to do the mod well be it on your own head I say. The idea has been given, now down to you Mr Starter.

Can you include me in the disclaimer as well? Not had any involvement in this, but just want to be sure I'm "covered"

TV in the front, not only will the driver lose their license, why have the kids in the front watching TV anyway?

Driver will only loose licence if he is moving, lots of cars have TV in the front. Hey guys I was only saying what someone has done along the lines of what this thread is about. I've no wish to do this, but clearly the originator of the thread was thinking along the same lines. This woman has taken it quite a stage further in linking in PS and video as well as extra screen in the back of the head rest DS3 TDV6 HSE - Silver with Alpaca (old one) Gone

Pelyma, just a point of law, if a TV screen is 'fitted' it is like having an opened bottle of booze in the car, still prosecutable. If you do not drink the booze or watch the TV because it is accesable, that is the offence. Not covering other countries by the way, just EU.

I beg to differ, but that is not the law.

BN go take a look in most up market BMWs and Mercs they all have TV, it usually switches the picture off when you get to 5mph but continues with the sound.
I seem to recall woodman said that the screen in D3 had a TV function there too but LR hadn't used it. DS3 TDV6 HSE - Silver with Alpaca (old one) Gone
