Key left in bonger

Key left in bonger

is driving me nuts. In my Hilux I was able to unplug a connector behind the lock barrell that did the job with no side effects.
Any thing simple like that for the D3?

Seriously though, leaving the key in leaves a LOT of the systems running and the current drain can kill your battery in an hour if it's not in tip-top condition I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

I quite agree, but feel that I am able to male my own decisions as to where to leave my keys without being nannied.
It's just a pet hate that's all - paticularly when you are in and out unloading.
