Brush Bar Incompatible with Front Park Distance Control?

Is it true that the metal brush bar is not compatible with the Front Park Distance Control? I recently bought a Disco 3, and when I had the dealer install the Brush Bar I was told that the PDC had to be disconnected, otherwise it would constantly beep?
Can anybody help with this issue?
Thanks[/b]

The dealer is correct - but only on the centre sensors, the outboard ones on mine still work perfectly.
There are a couple of options, either disable the centre sensors only or reposition them so that they don't 'ping' the bar. repositioning is only really an option if you are fitting a winch as well, otherwise you'll have holes in the bumper cover.
If you want to disable the centre sensors, I found the best way to do this is to cover the front of the sensor in butyl rubber tape, and then either paint or cover with matching colour tape.
If you look in my gallery there are photo's with this done but note that where I have repositioned the sensors to only clears the winch mount, they need to go further out to clear the brush bar.... hence the tape Embarassed
