Picked mine up today - Look great, thanks - assuming weather is kind, I'll have a go at fitting them this weekend.
Can't believe I'm going to attack £50k motor with hacksaw!

I am interested in these but would like to see the fitting instructions first to make sure I'm not biting off more than I can chew....
Any chance of posting them or a link to where I can see them?
Thanks!

Normally you would be able to download the instructions from http://www.ownerinfo.landrover.com/ but the site appears to be down at the moment
I have the PDF file and can send it via email if you wish. There are also a couple of posts on the forum which give some more details and some good pictures Overall It doesn't look that hard to do. After reading the posts etc. I decided I could manage it and have the sidesteps in the hall waiting for some decent weather to fit them

Slimer, I am expecting delivery of my new D4 around the end of April and am keen for side steps, but am being quoted AU$1500 in Oz by the stealer. Any chance that you can deliver to Oz? If so, how much approx? Thanks.

Please add me to the list!
Do these still suffer from corrosion? From the piccies, the brackets look like painted mild steel. Is it worth dipping them in Hammerite and/or Waxoyl before fitting?

pjvdl Postage to Oz would be about the same as the cost of the steps due to size and weight of them
hensoni I haven't got the faintest TBH, I just sell them, don't fit them. Hammerite or Waxoyl before fitting wouldn't do any harm though The End

I have had these for 3 years on a disco 3 HSE and they are brillaint. In the last month both the silver metal strips on the side steps have fallen off as the bolts that connect the strips have corroded. One dropped off on the drive and the other is somewhere on the Cheshire roads.
Anyone else had this problem and can you replace this part ?
