My dealer, we are now best friends, has been called up to LR for a meeting with (so he says) with all dealership MD's for a Disco3/Drug Dealers (sorry RR Sport) meeting. The word is there will a total recall on ALL of the afore mentioned vehicles for new software !!!! My D3 was in the dealers over the w/end and the computer came up with 21 faults including ABS failure!! The best was a fault in the shift pattern of my auto gear-box...fair enough you would think....mine is a manual !!!!
Watch this space....Alive and kicking..who's round is it anyway ??

Certainly would be a monumental excercise if true. Thats a lot of vehicles, and not many WDS systems to do the update. I will watch this space with interest.
Mine is OK, so not sure if I want anything updating.

Any good dealer will update your sw as a matter of course whenever the car goes in for attention / service.
Or if you have a friendly LRA chappy who does it whenever he's passing
I would suggest that LR have listened to the LRA guys and taken on board their suggestion that many D3's out there were not actually PDI'd correctly in the first place which has been the root of many issues they see.

I think LR are actually taking on board what the LRA team have been saying and discovering (pun intended).
If your D3 was PDI's correctly in the first place then most issues would not have cropped up.

You might not want them to do that if you've forked out £599 + VAT to have your car TurboChipped Now an ex-D3 owner after 7 happy years. Miss the car but not the big bills
