Seems appropriate as the country appears to have gone football mad (again).
I Wonder how many England flags I could fit on the D3?

I was expecting to hear a few jokes about "scoring".
Back on topic, I'd like to see more positive posts, I can't be the only "anorak" who spends hours researching a vehicle before I decide to buy it! This site is the only one I could find that was exclusive to the D3.

Just to say so happy with mine, bought a 2nd. Wife wanted "upgrade" from old D2 TD5 so I thought about £17k for new run out Freelander Adventurer 5 door, however she replied "U get a D3 HSE & I get a poxy Freelander?" . Got what I hope is a good deal on a 4 week old/few hundred mile D3 S Auto with few bits on it (PTI & roof rails), take delivey Thursday. Wifes now a happy camper!
good to here i get my TDV6 HSE Auto next week and was getting a bit worried
my only regret is for some reason i ordered Arctic Frost and all body coloured!!!!!!!
but i do have a snorkel a-bar and expedition roof rack to ease toe pain 8)

I have been thoroughly enjoying my LR3(D3) for over 9 months now. I have taken it upon myself to ask any D3 owners that will stand still for 30 seconds about their experiences with the D3. To date I have asked 7 other people about their satisfaction and off-road enjoyment with the D3 and have yet to receive a negative response. I actually got an earful from one gentleman in a library parking lot about how he was driving the D3 for three months in an area with cold, wintry, off-road conditions, and how he was delighted at the reliability and performance. My Wife has yet to report any issues while she has been driving the D3, and she is known to kill electronics! I only once had a system fault that was cleared after a restart and never happened again. So all in all, I love the safety, comfort, reliability, off-road ability, and this forum!!!

A little over a year now with my D3 with no problems & love the car.
Yes I would buy another, except that there is the…………..
……Range Rover Sport !!!! 8)
By the way, I’ve been a “Landy Lad†for over 13 years now & always considered them to be a great car. The one & only time I defected was in 2003 when I bought an XC90, which was the greatest s**t heap I ever owned. I had issues with it from the very day I got it.
Ended up selling it back to the dealer for a loss less than a year later, just to get rid of the thing. Got my D3 & will never defect from the green oval again.

No, for dreaming of the dark side, the RR Sport! The grief they will give us for even mentioning RRS on RRbling.co.uk (reached via www.rrsport.co.uk).
Wouldn't have touched the Volvo, especially after their fires problem (see BBC Watchdog), plus driven LRs since 1981, owned since 1989!
