Hi Turbochip,
I recently complained about the turbo lag on my 05 TDV6 the LR dealer then remapped the ECU and it feels a lot better and the fuel consumption is much better now. My question is, if I have my D3 Chipped will I end up with the turbo lag back again, or do you look at recent enhancements made by LR and incorporate theminto your remap? I recently drove my friends D3 which has your upgrade but felt it had the same level of turbo lag as mine did before the dealer remap.

I'm sure Chris will chime in here when he gets back online.
To answer your question now though... when Turbochip upgrade your engine mapping, all the latest LR software is uploaded at the same time.
Your friend may have had his Turbochip uploaded prior to patch 3 being available from LR.

Turbochip is a continually evolving product and we always try to 'tune' on top of the latest version of LR software.
We have never had an issue of lag increasing after the TC so if this ever happened I would expect there to be an 'issue' with the car.
Any vehicle given the TC 'treatment' will always receive the latest LR software and patches + the Turbochip  Money talks.Sex sells.Mud sticks.Time flys.  happens.People talk.Impressions last!
