Yep!
Charles is going to walk Mehgan down the aisle, now her father can't make the wedding.
So it's all good .... disaster averted!

Yep Charles was indeed good for something beyond fathering Willam and Harry with Diana, who IMHO was a true Princess in every aspect.
I also don't believe it was a case of can't attend with Mehgans father.
But as noted this Thread is not about all that stuff.
We did indeed build the latest batch by the end of the week, although we did get thrown a last minuinte curve ball from Osram on one of the LEDS we use.
The precision and specs of the combined power ratings, power consumption, luminous intensity and colour frequency wavelengths of the two LEDS we use for just the back light is just seriously ridiculous.
Aththough it has run into next week, that was mainly because Christian did not turn up on Thursday and Friday last week, this week my production guys are now checking and testing the newly built batch and my support and web staff are prepared to re add these to the Web shop and notfiy all on the list that these are now available as soon as tomorrow.
We have started looking into the Paddle shift option and sadly 2 of its parts are now NLA so I am working to try and find alternates for them.
Regards
Colin

So for information provision, we have indeed now built and tested the new batch of these conversion kits so many members here all been waiting for and asking about, and so finally got to put these back up on our web shop today and E-mailed notification to those who requested to be on that list.
I would most respectfully and humbly thank Martin and the Mods here for allowing me the opportunity to keep you all informed about the progress via this thread and recognising the value of its forum members requirements over our and any commercial aspects.
On a closing note I would add that I have now found alternate suppliers of the two NLA parts and so hopefully soon the Flappy paddles option may also became available again.
Warmest Regards
Colin

Thanks for the update and thumbs up James, and again my apologies for the Veeeeery Loooooong wait for this to be re instated.
I think that most know, realise and appreciate that providing this steering Wheel conversion kit took far more time, effort and cost in developing than I had spare, but I got into this more to help owners have that option, rather than some grand money making plan.
So it really does mean a lot to me and my staff to recieve comments of thanks, praise and enjoyment.
It's now been a very long time since I owned my own very well worn 2005 D3 with it's typically sticky plastic steering wheel, But I still recall how transformed it was to me via a new D3 smooth leather steering wheel supplied via TLO, and how I could not help stroking this new steering Wheel while driving, to a degree that even my wife made a close to jelous comment one day
That a new replacement for a worn out and sticky D3 wheel can now also be combined with updating the switches to the Later ones is far more icing on the cake with a cherry on top beggers belief.
What I did to update My D3 and its equipment level from the most basic to fully specced in so many ways was simply incredulous to the point of near disbelief at that time, and the BAS remap was a a very close second, but the change that I made that was the most hands on and notable was the new Steering wheel to me.
As an update, I am still working on the re supply of parts that will hopefully allow us to re introduce availablity of the Paddle shift add on, as and when I have the time, but that really does have to take second place to a lot of other stuff I have to deal with on a daily basis.
EG this current 2015 MY L494 test rig build wiring nightmare.
Those familiar with my past may recall that this is not exactly my first Rodeo as a few years ago I / we built our 2011 D4 / RRS test rig the same way
And of course the D3 before that
So I hope all might find some patience with me.
Regards
Colin

It was well worth the wait and to be fair as I donβt have a heated steering wheel I have paddle shift working by getting a heating steering wheel clock spring and using them two pin connections and a earth from the horn to route the paddle shift commands through to the shift stick
I did have to remove some resistors in the paddle shift paddles and bridge them but work a treat and all light up as wellDisco 3 gone but not forGotten

Easily done
Many thanks to BBS SPY. My kit arrived from Cyprus yesterday and is now installed and working on a RRS 2010 heated leather wheel in my MY05 D3. Now that I can feel the difference, why I put up with that second-rate plastic-covered original steering wheel for 14 years I don't know.

Hiyas all
Indeed, well worth the wait and I am fully agreeing that a new Steering wheel is the best Mod ever that you can make to a D3 / pre 2010 RRS and even better if you can fit the later D4 or post 2010 RRS model wheel and switches at the same time.
It actually borders on feeling like you bought a later vehicle.
I write, as I stated I would, as simply a follow up only to inform everyone that I did indeed find alternate suppliers of the parts required to build the Paddle shifter parts. So these optional aspects are now also available too.
That this thread is now 46 Pages long shows the degree of difficulty in developing this, the interest level and the time taken to design and produce this conversion Kit as well as how many have benefitted from it.
Of course the last couple of pages are more about it being no longer availaible.
I can only hope that other D3 owners will now continue to benefit from it finally becoming available again as many have before and I am very pleased and glad to re instate it's availiability fully from us as I always believed would be the case.
For the record, If I had ever believed for one second that we would not be able to re introduce this conversion Kit ourselves at some future point, I would have at the very least publically released and made available all research notes, Documentation and technical specifications including BOMS, part numbers and even PCB design layouts.
Regards
Colin

Just a note to say how impressed I am with the BBS boards. Ordered a set of the new stock last week, promptly dispatched by DHL and arrived on Saturday morning. Like a child on Xmas day, I couldn't wait so they were fitted within an hour of arrival and road tested shortly thereafter.
Great mod, superb service, well worth doing. Not cheap, but then quality never is.D3 - 2008.5MY HSE, Stornaway Grey, RSE etc - all the toys
