Expedition Rack

Does anyone know if a D3 expedition rack will fit a D4 - I am guessing it will. Also, looking for a rack that wont introduce too much wind noise / extra height but has mounting for spots, any suggestions ?

Thanks !

You will get some noise no matter what rack you put on, and then if you want lights these too will cause some more noise.

I just chranked up the stereo to drown the wind susing.

Re: Expedition Rack

The D3 expo rack will fit a D4. I think RLD posted a photo of my D4 with a rack fitted in the Spotted forum.

However, the D4 and expo rack fitted doesn't fit my garage, so the rack was sold.

The rack was modified and had a rubber gaiter and this lessened the noise considerably, apparently (never drove one without the rubber gaiter to make a comparison).
