Probable Site Downtime Tonight 2200 BST |
|
Hi all
Just to give you a warning of the short site downtime that will occur tonight at approximately 2200 BST. I'll be doing an upgrade to the latest version of the forum software, and I envisage 5-10 minutes of downtime or 'oddness' with the site

Martin - unless I'm mistaken the 'quote' feature isn't working right 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

Hi Martin, I just noticed the time is out, I only realised after just spotting your post above so went back to home page and the time stated was 80 minutes out and it's now 23:44 nut I bet the post time will be 22:24 more or less. 1998 Isuzu Trooper 3.1DTi SWB Commercial *Fir Green (Mica)*

Hi Ray - this is actually two 'problems'.
One of which is the timezone in your profile which needs to be set to "GMT + 1" to coincide with British Summer Time - see http://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=275
The other is the time offset which is affecting DISCO3 and RRSPORT and which I currently have no solution for as the server provider are refusing to answer requests for it to be changed

My apoligies Martin I thought I was going nuts and started checking my watch then my clocks after thinking my pc clock was out of sync, course it didn't help when I am also watching BBC1 and the programs are running late also.
Now having read the post you refered to I fully understand and have adjusted my profile to "GMT +1" as advised to correct the issue.
I had just assumed that it was a glitch from upgrading the forum software. 1998 Isuzu Trooper 3.1DTi SWB Commercial *Fir Green (Mica)*

Glad it's better now!
There is still an 18 minute offset between real time and DISCO3 time which I am trying to resolve
