LR seat covers
I bought a set of LR front & rear seat covers for my D3 when it was new and put them on straight away. Apart from the awful fit for the fronts (they do not stay in place, they slide around a lot), they are marking the tan leather. I'm going back mid week to have a phone patch applied so will see what they say. Anyone else with this problem??

I agree that the seat covers are pretty hopeless and will not stay fixed. I haven't checked for any marking problem but I too have black leather, so I hope that won't be a problem.

This is worrying news as I have ordered seat covers for my D3 with alpaca leather
I wonder if I should cancel the seat covers, although I do really need them as my Border Collie likes living on the back seat.
Maybe I could wrap the seat with a bedsheet or someting similar before installing the seat covers. What do you think?'06 TDV6 SE AUTO BUCKINGHAM BLUE

Just booked infor dealer to clean, will be gatting a refund on covers.
D3syd, I also got them for the dogs, more to save the seats from slobber & muddy water after a walk. Will just have to teach them not to get muddy, book them on the same class as flying lessons for pigs.
I don,t know what would be the answer as the rear covers are a tightish fit & very fiddly to fit, front ones are same for back rest & bit looser for seat base. The dye leached through where there was pressure, worst where arm rest & seat side touched when arm rest up, also headrest.
Pos I've just been unlucky, anyone here with alpacca leather & LR seat covers and no dye leaking??

d3syd there was recently I am sure an item on ebay from Austrailia that was a set of rear seat covers for a D3 in beige canvas, can't find it at the moment but will carry on looking. Might be worth a look at your end.Zermatt silver 06 reg.
DSL, aren't dogs just so inconsiderate Muddy paws and slobber (plus lots of hair in my case) just won't go with leather seats.
Cliff H, thanks for the pointer, will see if I can find it!'06 TDV6 SE AUTO BUCKINGHAM BLUE

They appear to be very ill-fitting and the picture is of a D2 not a D3.
Also found a Oz company called Black Duck which makes canvas covers, not sure if they do D3s, but I know they have covers for D2s. Their website is at:
I do hope Land Rover redesign the seat covers, the genuine fronts are very loose fitting.
I guess the loose fitting is due to the fact that they have to fit both types of seat -the 'base' model one and the 'HSE/ SE' spec one.Discovery 3 tdv6 7 seat Buckingham Blue
Had it since new - sold Jun 17 after 12 years and 214,000 miles
As a result of all the above posts, my seat covers are still sitting in its bag, unopened. I think I will just train my do to stay in the cargo hold and save the hassles of marked seats. '06 TDV6 SE AUTO BUCKINGHAM BLUE
