MrH wrote:Now that the ropes purchase is out of the way and we're just waiting for them to be ready I can concentrate of sorting out the logistics for the D3 courier network. Options available so far are:
1. Collect from Yeovil LR on 30th Jan
2. Have Sarumlight collect at YLR and distribute to North (Kielder etc)
3. Have NoDo$h collect at LR and distrinute to South & SE Meet
4. Collect at Feb's BAM in person or have someone at BAM collect them for you
5. Collect from my place.
Rather than everyone respond on this thread, please send me a PM says which of these options you want to use.
Cheers.
I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

No worries, I'm sure there'll be room for yours when I pick up the SE ropes if you ask Matthias nicely I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

Already sorted LRs are a fond memory, apart from the maintenance.

I've had a few queries from people about when will they get their ropes. So to re-iterate:
I will be collecting the ropes from the suppliers on the evening of Friday the 29th January. So I'll have them in time for Saturday 30th distribution at Yeovil LR.
I'll do my very best to pack & label the ropes going via courier over the weekend and try to ship them out on the Monday Tuesday. LRs are a fond memory, apart from the maintenance.

Best I sort out a drop-off or drop-offs in the SE for the following week. Matthias, can you drop me a list of those I'll be carrying ropes for so I can come up with a plan for dropping them off at 2 or three suitable locations please?
Ta!
Al
For those who have asked for their rope to head to the SE, I'll post a thread later this week or early next to suggest a couple of times/locations for mini-meets and collection. I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

When I've had a chance to read the list Matthias will be sending me and worked out a couple of likely locations that will be in reach of most people I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

I've made some minor changes in the last 10 minutes to the list I sent you and Sarumlight, once I get confirmation from Sarumlight and Guy to the PMs I've just sent them to confirm these changes I'll send you a fresh copy to ensure we're all looking at the same hymn-sheets LRs are a fond memory, apart from the maintenance.
