Oh No - I'm getting a D4 Tomorrow !!
The D4 has never really taken to me.
But it's having another go tomorrow.
My D3 is in Ripon Land Rover for service and they're giving me a D4 out for the day.
I'm not really interested in trying it, but I'm really worried .......
what if I like it ?
what if it makes my D3 feel like an old bag of bones?
I'm really NOT looking forward to it!

and how much you love your D3!!! You couldn't abandon her, not after all you've gone through. Ask for a Corsa or something awful.

Ron you leave that mattress alone, you won't want to take a brand new D4 offroad in January anyway there's no chance with you being a Yorkshire Scotsman. Ripon Land Rover are being rather sneaky though.Club Pie n Pea

My predictions are coming true.
In fact if you want to mention my name & D3 forum when booking with Peter, I'm sure he'll pull out all the stops that he has with me.

Turn on the ignition, but don't start the engine; press and hold the start button, which will switch the ignition off again, then immediately try a normal start procedure.
It's the same old story; lots of ECUs communicating with each other, and if you don't give them time to do the talking, they throw up error messages.

i love the tough slab sided looks of the D3, propper mud and wellies mans car.... D4?
softened down for joe public in the looks department.... but cracking drive, 3litre is great, handles great....
D4 is a refinement over the D3,
just remember how many awards the D3 won 8)

and we trust the bankers to do WHAT with it? (apart from getting big fat bonuses) Experience is a difficult teacher, because she gives the test first and then the lesson afterwards!!!!
