45k Service due very soon.

I think the 45k is the same as the 15 and 30. Has anyone had a 45k yet? How much was it?

I shall be specifying that they use Land Rover branded 5w 30 oil instead of the expensive stuff.

Does anyone know if the TDV6 have timing belts? if so when are they to be changed?

I'm nearly there too.

And Shukers (as you may remember from my posts at the time) charged me waaay less for oil than any other costs posted.

Must be a Shropshire thing eh ?

Its noticable that since the 30k service (when I specified the cheaper Land Rover oil) my car has used absolutely NO oil at all.

Do you know which oil Shukers put in?

45k is the first air-filter change ISTR, mine was in a right state when I swapped it for an ITG one at 9k so I hate the think what one that's done the full 45k will be like Shocked The End

The green bottled LR stuff thats designed for all petrol and diesel LR engine and particularly the new Discovery Wink

Have two 1ltr's myself now and yes as you say... no oil use at all for ages Shocked checked again today and still OK... although stick is very crap to read correctly.
