Had the same problem with near side rear window. Tried the fix (which is in the manual in fact) never worked. It was in the Stealer last week for various things including this and they said they had re-calibrated it. It seems OK now.2011 D4 Landmark, Mini Cooper SD Clubman, Range Rover Vogue SE

Just had this problem fixed today. Took it to the local dealer, there is a bulletin out on this very problem. They had to do upgrade of the software. It fixed the issue straight away.

Re: window bounce

Herewith the procedure:
Hold the window button up. The first 2 to 3 times it will bounce back. The fourth time or so the window will now go to the top. Once closed hold for 3 seconds, release and lift again holding for 3 seconds. You will hear a faint clicking side inside the switch. This confirms that the window is now reset.
The same procedure can be applied to all windows where required.
This worked on mine.
Our MY12 D4 TDV6 right (drivers) side rear window would only open to half way and when you attempt to shut it it goes up to the top then bounces back down. Your procedure outlined above worked perfectly to resolve this, thank you.
