Ice warning bong

Anyone else wet themselves today when the temp went to 4 deg and the bloody D3 went BONG!!!

This always happens when im belting along and go into a cooler section of road.

Of course instant reaction is WTF Censored has gone now!!!

Anyone know if you can turn it off?

cheers.

Boy, you Midlanders have nearly got it as good as your Southern neighbours.
Was 'minus 1 degree' when I left 'oop north' this morning ... and yep, it bonged [but somehow I knew it was cold] Wink

Whistle Whistle Whistle

just waiting on DSL coming along and telling us it was 'minus 20' in the Heelands Shocked

Soo true ronp - a southern softie me. Thumbs Up

My father lives in northern Oslo and he wets himself each time we have 4mm of snow and the country grinds to a halt.

His coldest temp last year was -26 deg.

Now thats a smidge chilly!

It would have been nice if they had made it a little snowflakey sound...like a sweet tinker bell rather than the dreaded Censored BONG.

Can't have been that slippery JMC - not if you can undertake flash photography, one handed, at 60mph, at night...

Those with 07 or newer cars don't get the bong. But we do get a lights-on indicator on the dash and a nice clock in the info display Thumbs Up

FBH timer has come in handy this week 8)
I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.
