Advice needed for programming GSM unit - FBH Remote

Hi all

Had a WT-009 gsm unit fitted last week which works great, but just wondered if someone could shed some light on setting up the whitelist??? Confused Confused

I have put my number in it as 01 - which is perfect (the usual then WHL01=my number)
I then put my wifes in as 02 (the usual then WHL02=her number)

On both they are confirming as 01 and 02, I then allow whitelist only (usual code then #ACM2) - which then tells me ACM-ON... but FBH doesn't startup on my wifes, only mine Confused Confused

Both phones are showing and recognised - I can even send a command by text from my wifes phone and it replies - just won't startup (all cards are on same network by the way)

I am confused Confused Confused Confused

Any help/advice appreciated Very Happy Bow down Very Happy

Regards
Les

ps If I use command #ACM0, it is fine with anyones phone although not ideal Neutral

To anyone who has one of these GSM Units (WT-009 Dial to Open), it appears the max 10 digits to the number sometimes needs to be cut to 9 or even 8 for it to work (info from Quantek themselves) - only on some numbers!!! Confused

So it's now all sorted Very Happy and my wife can use the car/heater now Crying or Very sad

Some questions about the WT-009 gsm unit, if you don't mind.

Did you shop around for alternatives, if so what units did you consider & reject?

How much did you pay for the WT-009 gsm unit & from whom?

Who did the fitting for you & at what cost?

What are the running costs for the telephone element? Is the SIM supplied, does it need regular top-ups etc...

Hi Nigel

I was going to buy all parts (gsm unit/timer etc), but had a service booked with Iain TFC - so had him supply and fit.

I just used a PAYG sim and put a tenner on it (will probably last forever as the only time it's used is when you set new commands). With regards calling it, I don't think it costs anything as it appears to cut off before it picks up - the unit then starts from that! Hope this makes sense!!!

Regards
Les

ps works great tho Thumbs Up
