Have to agree with that, it's money well spent and far cheaper than replacing the wheel, tyre and winch because some thieving git has taken it.
It also stops you worrying about your spare wheel disappearing!
Had one on my D3 and transferred it to the D4 when I picked it up

Ray, if you could 'adapt' your rock sliders into rock/tree sliders I'd definitely be interested is a set.
Want the tree slider bit to help protect from gobsh1tes opening their door and putting a dent in mine, also to aid SWMBO in getting in.
Want the rock slider bit to do just that, slide over the rocks.Dale
