Slightly related... Is there Windoze software available that can display the maps on the DVD? I believe the are stored in "KIWI" format (.kwi).

Sat nav updated DVD

I've just realised today that the DVD (sat nav) in my D3 is newer than the one the RRS. The D3 sat nav now knows about the reworked M4 J13. Even though this was done about 2 years ago, the RRS sat nav didn't have the new road layout.

I'll eject the disk tomorrow and find out the version number. Matt
