If it is not to late... plug the LEDs to the turn signal bulb cables, not the side light one, that would be awsome l=Oo\________/oO=l l:Ool======loO:l

You could put a resistor in the sidelight supply and full voltage for flash (don't forget a blocking diode ). Then sidelights will be dullish and led's would brighten up when indicators flash
