Installed GSM Climate today!

Bit of a slow day at work so I installed the GSM Module for remote climate.

The car already had timed/remote climate activated so I just bought the GSM box and a spare remote fob (Thanks to Ent & Wiggs for their help with this)

Picked up a permanent live in the left hand "pod" in the boot and hey presto, neat install and it works a treat!

Everyone else in the office is of the opinion that having it so I can TIME the heating to come on, REMOTE operate it to come on and now RING the bloody thing to come on is overkill. I disagree! Laughing

I'm so impressed I now need to find other stuff I can fit GSM control to!

Here's a pic of my very dirty Disco4 after shooting yesterday.....well it's what they were made for wasn't it??

Got very slippy late on, when the frost came out of the ground! We went up and down some serious valleys near home in the jolly old Cotswolds! Went sideways at one point but driver's fault not the car's Embarassed

Cheers

Paul

Spent an enjoyable day out in cold and snowy Northumberland yesterday doing a few lanes and quite a few fords with Les, George, Paul, Steve, Russ and another George. the group ranged from a series one through Defenders to D3's and a D4. I was really impressed with the GG AT's they never put a foot wrong in the snow Thumbs Up

Spent The Day Off Road At Saunders Gorge Sanctuary Adelaide

Just spent the day driving around Saunders Gorge Sanctuary. Fisrt time off road in this car. It performed well, a group of LC owners watched in amazment as we climbed one of the first steep climbs on almost worn out Wrangler HP's which I thought were a load of Censored, but they climbed and descended with ease.

Maybe that is down to the car itself. Still I will bet getting some Cooper AT3's soon, just to be on the safe side.

Did have a couple of strang issues, which i'll raise elsewhere and I'll post some photes over the next day or so. Thumbs Up

The MH53 or the Spitfire?
The MH53 was used for rescuing downed pilots and inserting special forces until about late 2008 - it really is a monster up close, the Spitfire was in the TV program a few years ago when James May made a 1:1 scale model Spitfire from plastic. Thumbs Up
Good museum to visit - but looks like a bit of a journey from where you are
