Nice new shiny bits:
New discs and pads all round along with an EPB service, first brake system intervention since new @ 32500 miles and timed well with all pads down to <2mm and all the discs pretty shot as expected.
Part of the plan to keep the D4 for a couple more years hopefully, see how the other options pan out.

We did our first camping trip in our Discovery. Five people, boot filled to the roof, 4 bikes on the tow bar. You would hardly know it though, car took it all in its stride.
Kids still fought in the back though, and every charging point was in use throughout the journey. The wife discovered she could play audiobooks from her iPhone through the car's speakers, so she's happy. The sat nav worked well. Even the AC kept the cabin at the temperature indicated on the dial.
Very, very happy with this car.
