Did a few green lanes today, started off in Cumbria and ended up in The Yorkshire Dales, managed to miss the rain all day but by God was it cold and windy

Spent yesterday out in Kielder forest helping out on the Kielder 4x4 Safari raising money for The Northumberland National Park Mountain Rescue Team.

Had a bit of everything weather wise, rain, hail, snow and sunshine, also sneaked in a tricky little green lane on the way home

I took mine up my peat road today which made me realise that I need to get rid of the Pirelli Scorpions and fit something with a bit of grip as it struggled in places. Why are there no Duratracs in 20"?2015 Discovery 4 HSE Corris with Blackpack

It's not beached. I took this photo to use in another thread about the merits of having mud flaps fitted. I removed mine yesterday as I knew that step would rip them off.
My last Discovery 4 would happily drive up that step with Duratracs on but this one wouldn't do it with the Scorpions. I think I'll either get a set of 19s and fit Duratracs or look at Cooper LTZs on the 20s.
I'm starting to regret leaving the Duratracs on my last one when I sold it. They are an excellent mud tyre.2015 Discovery 4 HSE Corris with Blackpack

I took my 20's off when I first got it and put my spare set of 19's one with GG AT's but am slowly coming around to the idea of replacing them with Duratecs when the time comes.Cheers Ian

Apparently, Duratracs do come in 20" but they are 305 55 20. Spacers might be required...... 2015 Discovery 4 HSE Corris with Blackpack
