Can I cask why you want to fit one?
I know electric fans will supposedly give you more fuel economy under the right conditions but do you not think LR would have fitted one if it was a real benefit over the viscous one which seems to work just fine?
One more thing to possibly go wrong if you go wading Wink

hi slimer

i have fitted electic fans on other cars and noticed better fuel consumption,
more responsive engine and quieter running.
just think its a good idea for the initial cost.

United States 2005 LR3 4.0 V6 Petrol SE Auto Tonga GreenLR3

Electric fan converions done here for Jeep Wranglers more often than not, include an ON/OFF switch. This feature keeps the fan from spinning when wet or muddy. Very Happy When I was traversing a muddy hole some time back, my viscous fan generously shared any mud that came it's way with the rest of the engine bay! Shocked
