I got rid off Wife 1.00 for Girlfriend 1.00 this has been a very good move but Girlfriend 1.00 keeps complaining that she needs upgrading to wife2.00. I am not sure about the upgrade as these sort of upgrades sometime cause fatal exception errors, although in this case the upgrade seems to be more compatable with the operator.

this is probably now becoming the most humorous and bloke related thread on the forum...
Great amusement and hats off to you...
By the way, I have found that Wife 2.0 is absolutely NOT backwards compatible with Wife 1.0
Child 1.0, 2.0 and via upgrade to Wife 2.0... child 3.0 all get along very well. No exception errors or unexpectedly quit errors at all. Funny how new code gets along whereas old code is incompatible... maybe a lesson here with the age of the code ?
Mind you... the upgrade from Wife 1.0 to Wife 2.0 was very expensive ! But as with all things... new versions always seem to have those extra features that are well worth it
Have a good weekend

Yippee
Yipee! I've managed to get Wife 2.00 to work with Freelander 1.00 which means I can have exclusive use of my favourite game D3Driving2004 1.00. Wife 2.00 also seems to run alongside GirlsNightOut 1.00 regularly without any problems, its GolfCourse 2.00 for me.2004 Discovery 3 - gone
