ISTR there is a TSB for this. Its something to do with the seat cushion underneath that causes the crease and should be done under warranty as CW said

On my last one I had both front seat bases changed under warranty, although that was the < 3yrs manufacturer one, not sure about the 3rd party approved warranty.

I guess a quick call to them would tell you yes or no Thumbs Up

Have to say mine was done inside the 3 year warranty, I am not 100% but I don't think approved covers this.

LR approved warranty doesn't cover seat bases.

The foam base is only £20 to buy but 1.5 hours to fit (I think)

I didn't know they could be replaced under warranty - I tried to get them to replace rear seat squab cover where the fabric had rubbed up on the seams (probably whereI used to throw my laptop) but they refused. Too late now - will be 5 yrs old at end November.

Is it difficult/expensive to get fabric seats recovered - I have front and rear heated? Is it possible to get recovered in leather at reasonable price - I used to think leather was not the best idea for a vehicle thats going to get muddy and wet (inc. salt water) but not so sure now.

just going ahead with leather replacement seats covers - I'm most likely to use seat surgeons in York. Going rate seems to be £800-1100 depending on leather spec.

Yep, it's there about, just got one from TLO this week, was around £27 inc vat & postage.
Being fitted on Tue at dealer whilst I wait at £45 + vat.

Was going to use them to fit it, went all the way there on Wed, but had a run in with the foreman.
Paul the boss wasn't in [as arranged] so had a bit of a 'cross wired' encounter with his foreman.
Even after apologies[ though it wasn't my fault - I was being ignored] the guy wouldn't accept.
Now wouldn't touch them nor recommend them to anyone !!
Great pity as Paul seems a decent guy with a good business there.
