Changing of Wheels

Good day to all of u !!

i am seriusly consider Confused to buy a set of 17'' after market rims and to put some M/T tires. instead of the 18'' with pirellis which i hv now, and to change weels when i have ''bad'' intentions Twisted Evil fr play.
So the questions are...is there any problem if i frequent (say twice per month) change frm 18'' to 17'' ?? i.e possible damages of weel nuts/screws
etc...????

anybody with such on/off experience ???

I change mine regularly, no problems so far. Normally put a bit of copper grease on the threads, always check the nuts don't cross-thread and torque them up (to 140Nn) correctly

Yep, get yourself a decent trolley or bottle jack for regular use, quicker than the standard scissor thing too

Buy yourself one of those 12V rattle guns to undo the nuts. It will make removing the nuts much quicker.

Don't use it to do them up though - do that by hand.

just a short one... hv noticed tht as frm early september
the GENERAL GRABBERS AT2 all terrain tyres will be availiable
fr us 255/60/18, Razz
what is best to do.. to hv the 17'' with M/T and change
betwwen the 18'', or to put the grabbers at2 as overall use. ???

and fr the grabbers AT2 will do the job close to m/t, and what abt the
noise do u thing will be significant noticable fr the AT2, comparing
to the standard pirellis ???
