I didn't realise the sensors are being disabled on connecting something.

Well to be precise, they are disabled when you plug in something to the towbar electrics (eg rear light board). Not when you just attach a tow bar.
The next American ex-pat that calls it a "truck" is going to find out what 2.7 tons feels like on their foot...

Stuck it in reverse, Forgot that the handbreak was on. If it is, the Rear sensors don't activate automaticly as they do if you just go into reverse from P. Kept on backing up think I would hear a beep beeep beeep but all I heard was a CRACK as I reversed into a car behind me. £160 later my rear sensor was fixed and I learned NEVER to reverse without checking for the PDC button and hearing the "beep" to say its engaged.

Works car park just this morning - someone nicked my spot, so i cheekily tried to throw it into the CEO's spot as he was not there..... turns out his is a bit tight.... sensors were beeping intermittantly as I reversed into the crush barrier. Amazed they did not pick it up - damage only superficial and will polish out, but could have been a lot worse. Really annoyed that they missed something at a good height and about 2 foot wide!

Swimbo was the target this morning. Shocked Almost ran over her, as she was just out of range of the sensors and in my blind spot AND I was quite in a hurry to get the car out of the garage. Shocked Big Cry Censored that was really close. But my eardrums are still suffering Laughing

I always back into my parking space at work and my sensors do a good job of locating the weeds growing along the lot. It's not a thick patch of weeds, more like some weeds here and there. I'm impressed actually.
