It could have been me as I was videoing at the bottom of the hill but when the heavens opened I retreated to the dry and warmth of the car. I've been away all week so haven't had a chance to download the footage but hopefully will at the weekend.
My weekend was cut rather short. After the Saturday events I went off to refuel for the Sunday. On the way to the garage I got a phone call from my wife saying our 21 month old baby had been unwell all day and had a temperature of 39.2C. She had telephoned the out of hours Doctor and they had said the symptoms were not flu-like so that was a relief. At that point I decided that spending the evening getting was not the best idea in the world and decided to head home, although I was told "you don't have to come home." (ladies: all men know ehat that really means ) Having just checked in to the Rockingham Forest Hotel I had to turn back, grab my stuff and check-out!
By the time I got home his temperature had come down a bit although he was very grumpy. By Sunday morning it was near normal and he was charging around the house like he normally does.
