Hi,Just picked up my 54 plate SE last week and wondered how the LR button on one keyfob turned the lights on and the other keyfob set the alarm off.
I did not get a handbook with my D3 so could anyone tell me what other functions can be programmed .

My third button is curretnyl programmed to put the head lights on but I am having issues with the upper tailgate release button wiring. I have replaced the actuator and catch but the wiring is corroded on the loom for the button so I am struggling to replace the button. I had a the bright idea of programming the third button but for some reason it wont let me reprogramme it?

You can also open the upper tailgate by holding down both the lock & unlock buttons on the dash at the same time - probably won't work for programming the third button, but useful to know!D3 2005 HSE

HI yeah thats how you can program the third button. thanks.
luckily the spare key is setup to open the tailgate which will get me out of not being able to open the tailgate for the dogs until I can suss out why the button wiring is not working.

Personally I always keep my spare D3 key set to operate the suspension- it’s a great feature that can be used with the 3 buttons on the key and doesn’t need the engine running. My main key is set to work the lights and I have the reverse lights set to come on on second press and FBH to operate on third press.Must stop buying shiny toys....
