Enjoyed Hampton? - join me on Saturday 29 August 09 |
|
Short notice, but you're welcome to come along. Will meet at the servo. 1km south of Lithgow, at 9am. Some comments/caveats:
- this is a recce for a future more co-orinated trip, so there will be uturns, confusion etc
- you need to be a member of the RR Club of NSW (which should be call the D3 & RRS club) . If you are not, you can get signed up - see the site http://www.rangeroverclubnsw.asn.au/
- the aim is for some challenging driving - but no damage, and certainly suitable for late model cars on standard rubber. Will tend to be rocky rather than muddy.
Please PM if you want to come along.

Love to Andrew but no.
I have a National Conference for my work on next W/E.
Many good spots up there.
My question would be would members of other "Proper 4wd Clubs" be Ok as they would have done Driver Training with their club?

Good question re club membership - I am not quite sure. Personally I think people would be well served to join the RR Club - great mag, brilliant driver training, frequent trips and good people.
I'll see how I go for attendees, if I am breaking any club protocol, and then work it out from there later in the week.
Good luck at your conference. You're welcome to lend me those sexy Zeon's if they need a bit more breaking in...

Yeah makes the D3 look completely different from my 19's & HT tyres!
At work they called it the "Pope Mobile" but had to change the name to "Judge Dread" once I put the Zeon's on.
Going away again in Sept so I'm leaving them on. 2005 TDV6 HSE Silver, LLAMS Height Controller, Tinted Glass, Onroad - 19" GG AT's, Offroad - 18" 275/65 MT, Traxside Dual Battery kit, Rasta Protection Plate, Alpine Roof, BAS Remap, ARB Air Compressor, eDiff Custom Drawer and storage unit -http://www.box.com/s/jem0ilac3cner2mexq64 UHF CB, 4x4 Intellegence RWC, 120ltr Long range tank, Rock Sliders and Compressor protection plate Beanie grill, De Tango.
