Dent repair with Dry Ice : Urban Myth ??

I have one small dent on the drivers door which has been bugging me for a while but probably not worth the cost of getting a PDR guy to come out to fix (it's also very close to the front of the door so I'm not sure if it could be pushed out).....

Anyway - looking for a cheapskate alternative - a quick Google showed up many videos demonstrating how DryIce or Hairdryer + AirDusters can pop these out.

one example here... http://www.wisebread.com/remove-car-dents-quickly-and-cheaply

There's also many postings debunking this (mainly posted by PDR guys Shocked )

I'm just wondering if anyone has ever tried these techniques with any success ? or it this just BS?

JKP ???

I hope it does work as a tree jumped out on me!!!!! Shocked

Smashed tailgate glass and small dent on tailgate.

I brought a can of air from staples to try the hairdryer and cold air trick.

It was only £4 so worth a go.

or from Scewfix
