I'll bet she did know but was not about to tell you and whoever else was listening that it is the one part of the car that is still sh!t

You not heard of, or seen the myriad of threads on here about Webasto timers then I believe that every human has a finite number of heart-beats. I don't intend to waste any of mine running around doing exercises.

Just done a search on Webasto but as I'm relatively new to the site and the car, I'm still none the wiser as there's a myriad of threads as you say! Can you help with a brief resume?

Most if not all UK supplied D3's are fitted with a FBH (Fuel Burning Heater), which runs on diesel and fires up when the engine is started from cold and the outside temp. is below 5 degrees.
It is possible to get a kit from Webasto to put a timer on the FBH so you can have it come on at a set time every day (if conditions necessitate) so that the car is up to temperature when you get into it - the benefit being engine is already warm and you can get hot air into the cabin staright away. It is also possible to fit a GSM module so you can control operation by mobile phone.
Is that brief enough I believe that every human has a finite number of heart-beats. I don't intend to waste any of mine running around doing exercises.

Brief but very informative! Many thanks. I take it this should go on the list for my first visit from TFC, sounds like an excellent mod.

Yep
I think TFC is now doing this mod in his Sleep I believe that every human has a finite number of heart-beats. I don't intend to waste any of mine running around doing exercises.

I hope with all that stuff now placed on the steering wheel (looks like a PSP) the reliability of the 'clock spring' or cassette has improved a bit!

I went to LR to discuss my new order. They told me that there are no interior colour options (light and dark gray that is). I like the Stornway colour and ebony inside. TLO can you shed some light to this please. And if there is only one option does this look similar to the latest D3 dark gray?

I too had a good fondle of the D4 yesterday at Goodwood
Very nice it was to. I liked the cameras. Also liked the tow ball giude system that the LR guy told me about (Despite it not being fitted t that vehicle) whilst showing how to setup all the cameras.
I also noticed it was badged 3.0 on the back

I had a crawl over it 2!! nice motor but pretty 'blingy' also had a drive around their playground. V disapointed that it was only a D3 rather than a D4. but that was fun too!!

The D4 looks very nice indeed, but from the pictures, I too think that the ruggedness of the D3 is being lost. The line between the D4 & the RRS really is being blurred.

Was she at Goodwood? Must have been distracted by the D4
Saw her interviewed by Jonathon Woss, what a genuinely pleasant and funny lady, a rarity in her profession......

She was there on Saturday, her husband was there on Sunday. I was a guest of Cartier on Sunday and got some great pictures of Jenson, Peter Fonda on a bike and Jay Leno. Loving the power of the TDV8!
