Gaydon, Warwickshire, 3 July 2009 – Land Rover today announces prices for the new Discovery 4 – on sale in the UK from September 1.
The significantly revised and updated models feature new refined and powerful engines, completely redesigned interiors and a host of new technologies – all of which ensure greater customer value. The pricing structure will reflect the increase in the level of specification over the predecessor 2009 MY products.

The new 2010 model year line-up will all be on show at the Goodwood Festival of Speed this coming weekend from July 3-5. Land Rover will be offering Festival goers test drives of the Freelander 2 TD4_e, the world’s first SUV with intelligent stop-start technology – around the Goodwood estate, and will showcase its vehicles’ supreme capabilities on ‘Terrapod’ – the man-made off-road demonstration unit.

Now you see, I reckon that what's needed here is something to plug the gap between the XS and the HSE, something with leather AND electric seats. Sort of an HSE-lite. Perhaps they could call it the SE? I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

agreed looks like a decent gap between xs and hse; perhaps too many people going for se so LR want to drive them up market....notice the se freelander has also been deleted..Visiting from rrsport.co.uk
