Great job done by all, i think i will give it a go. What is the part number of the indicator bulb as it seems to be a wedge base.

Can anyone tell me which bulbs to use for the indicators? Or are they the same ones originally recommended a few years back?
Thanks!

If I use the oven technique, I need to remove the parts related to xenon? (please see attached file in red) or I can put altogether? Thank you!

I did mine in the oven and didn't remove anything except for the screws between the housing body and lens, I just propped them up with the lens uppermost in the oven which was pre-heated to about 100°C for around 5 minutes or so, doing it this way there is insufficient heat transfer to the inside of the unit to do any damage to internal components.Clive

I tried first the oven technique but was not very successful. The xenon cover melted (I'll scan the other part and print in 3d printer). So I used the heater to detach the lens. My intention was to put a Daytime light ring (120mm) inside.
In my opinion it was very difficult to separate the headlamp lens from the body. So I made a small hole for passing the wire and for a while I connected in the "lamps on" until find a best way to connect.
Do you know what is the best place to connect daytime light cable? Any "original" place to connect, fuse?
I know that Discovery 4 (LR4) Daylight running lamps switch on automatically when the ignition is on, the gear selector is out of park (AT transmission) and when the parking brake is not applied but I don't know how do it in LR3.

Headlamp Amber Delete
Done mine this weekend using this guide (thanks very much)! The only thing I would add is make sure your wiring loom inside em lamp doesn't get trapped otherwise the cables to the bulbs might not reach where they need to go!
I may have to go back in to free one of them off but I might also look at doing the DRl rings as well.

Parents have a 4 oven aga and I think the warming oven has a temperature of ~85'c, as far as I know the heat comes from all the walls and floor, would it be ok to throw the headlight in on a towel lens down?
