Has anyone fitted CREE LED sidelights and are they brighter than the long 13 LED extremes ?

How long would you say it would take to do this?? Currently sat at work, taken 1 headlight out and just sat trimming the plastic bits off the new bulbs so they fit. I'm only here til 3, is 4 hours enough time to do it in??
TIA

Cool thanks, got the heat gun but I've left my tool kit at home
Oh well, it'll have to wait until later.

Yeh yeah, risky i know. The only sample images i could find that i could work with were the all white RRS or VOGUE.
All in all, im wrapped. Cheers to this thread.
Did you source the amber / silver bulbs locally?

Anyone know what cars came standard with the amber / chrome 3156 bulbs so I can track some down here in Sydney, Australia?
I've done the mod to de-tango, just need new bulbs.

Do you spray paint it , directly on the chrome part. or did u remove the chrome from the plastic?
Thinking about doing this mod my selfe, wonder if it would be cool in stornoway grey, like rest of the car?
Cheers

Did the headlight modification last week and replaced the grill. What a difference. Still strugeling for the replacement of the indicator and side lights. Due to the clear lense the bulb is good vissible so I like the indicator 3156 LED Amber lights from HID4U appearing white when not lit. But just received a suggestion from HID4U for the side light replacement with the 501 W5W Xenon Extreme White Side light bulbs. But they look very blue especialy not lit and I dont like the blue bulb in the clear housing. Any other suggestions to match the side light with the Xenon mainlight colour.

Tip: I removed the orange reflector and sprayed it with Silver metalic spray and it almost identical to the other non shiny parts. Don not touch it after spraying because it is very sensitive and the metalic particals come off very easily.

Will be having a go at this once the Hawke grill arrives! Great thread.
Can someone advise me if you need to fit resistors to the HID LED Bulbs to prevent them from flashing too fast?
