I had my last service done well within the warranty and gave them a detailed list of things to check - list is on the forum under pre-warranty check list or something like that.LRs are a fond memory, apart from the maintenance.

If the vehicle is in warranty it doesn't matter who owns it. Just book it in 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

Cost, I know if it is a warranty issues then that's free, but do they charge a fee to look over it?

Feck me ...you sound like an old schoolmaster .."cost boy.. I said Cost"
Tell them what you think is wrong with it and they will look. If it's an item covered by warranty then there will be no charge. They may find additional things covered under warranty while looking.
But ... if its a wear and tear item then yes they will charge.21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

You would normally have a fault which they investigate and fix under warranty (or not). Would have thought they would charge you for an inspection. 10forcash does a similar service and will probably be a lot more comprehensive as "can't be ar$ed" is not in his phrase book, unless it means drinking my warm beer in Tunisia!!!

I'd rather it if you used a "defibrillator" Del 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021
