CC
see I have a wonky leg and cant read ... Wednesday who knows??? I was off
The lines dont get me started. Its the civil service we had normal lines painted, a straight forward oblong box normal car park type of thing. Now we have some managers who are ex forces and like things in straight lines and painted grey. So markings indicate rear/front wheel position and drivers door position.
Some of my colleagues would park out of line...how very dare they!!! so the extra lines are for lining up the vehicles. if you ask me. So I now park diagonally just to annoy them or not in a box at all!!!
see now you have got me started.

You're joking about the lines, right?
Just trying to wind me up about misspent public money...

Once watched a pod of motorcyclists from the Met's Special Escort Group park up in a very orderly line outside St James's Palace. They were all line abreast, very neat.
All about to walk off when the Sgt looked back, had a word with one of the officers and sent him back to his bike. It turned out that his front wheel didn't have the gold-lettered 'Pirelli' lined up with all the other bikes. Once that was rectified he joined the others for a cuppa.
Now THAT'S anal!

couple of things noted after todays drive.
Its some sort of base spec
No sat nav/No heated front screen/no headlamp washers
base spec radio/cd cloth seats etc etc
What I did find odd was that the steering wheel has cruise control that works + audio buttons and mode button + phone button which dont work.
They must be fitting one standard steering wheel on all specs now????
The clock on the dash displays --/--/-- or something like that. The radio clock is fine...I thought both were linked???
The bloomin things locks itself over certain MPH, when you do get out it leaves the tailgate locked. No access to additional funtions throught indicactor stalk other than average fuel miles etc.
I suppose the dealer will have to deactivate the locky door function.
Overall quiet engine, a good ride and pulls very well.

Yeh dealer can switch off the speed locks (or faultmate )
Are those strobes on the inside of the boot lid flush mounted or do they stick out slightly .? G4 Gone ...but not forgotten

Wiggs the rear strobes are now flush in the tailgate. Looks like a man has just dremmeled it out...
The front strobes are now mounted on the front grille rather than inset with a bit of the grille choped out.
We now have slidey out trays for the cones for the short peeps. But the Cones catch on the center drawer so you then cant slide them out
