No plinth, what a shock! Glad I checked as 3 of the 6 adhesive strips holding the plate were coming adrift. I shall now go plinth hunting.

My 2005 model HSE had the plinth but my replacement 2006 model did not so I removed it (along with the parking ticket holders and mudflaps) from the old car before it was replaced. 1996 Discovery 1 300TDI ES Biarritz Blue, sold

No plinth but thanks to 10's quick work on Sunday I still have my plate after my swim.
It looks wrong without a plinth so I'm off to the dealer !

Had my new 06 reg car only a week, so had to go and look to see if it has one - which it does - but now makes me wonder how old the car actually is....
