| Trailer Reverse Lights not working |

I have a trailer that has reversing lights.
When I hook it up to the Disco with the 7Pin round plug these everything works correctly EXCEPT the reversing lights. 
The reverse lights work correctly when I hook it up to other cars using the 12pin rectangular plug.
Does anyone know if the LR 7Pin plug has a reverse light pin?
Also what is the white 7 Pin plug for?

The standard socket does not have the reversing light wiring that is on the 12S socket ( white socket )
Have a look at this http://www.towitall.co.uk/trailer_wiring/instructions.htm "Never keep up with the Joneses. Drag'em down to your level. It's cheaper".
