second row seats removal, torque for torx bolts |
|
Have removed the middle seat of the 2nd row, in order to put the water containers on the floor. Having checked the depth below have put the torx nuts back in the holes. When we return and reconfigure the vehicle do the torx nuts have a torque setting? (if that is the correct terminology).
I did consider putting shorter nuts in the vacant holes but was concerned about damaging the threads.

We also remove all 2nd row seats for extended trips - plug unused holes with 'arrow head' shaped high density foam (pushed in from inside) then tape over with duct tape - so far no dust no water into cab.
After putting seats back I just tightened bolts as firm as I could by hand - can't see why they would need specific torque?
