Dyno run for a MY07 car with ECO tune. |
|
For the people who have asked me to post a dyno print.
Here is a PDF power run from a 2.7L TDV6 one of my customers had on the dyno today.
The car was ran on a DynoDynamics Dyno at a garage in leeds i supply tuning to.
As you can see the car made a gain of +38.3Ps and +80Nm of torque.

Very interesting Pete.....
By ECO I suppose you mean that it's a lighter tune than your normal one? If so, then 38PS is a very respectable gain.... Nice one.
One thing that surprised me a bit.....if these are flywheel figures, then both standard/pre-map power and torque would seem to around 10% lower than normal....
Also, is the flat spot at 3600 normal in factory mapped D3s?
Cheers and nice work!

HI
Yes the ECO tune is slightly lighter in bhp and torque over the normal tune i give.
I also agree with the figures been low in standard and tuned form by a few % , every LR ive ever had on a dyno never makes the factory stated, if its run on a well calibrated dyno.
I think its because of the masive drag on the drive train which is drmaticly reducing the final power, we have tested with tyre pressures and tread paterns and althow it does change the output its not that great that it accounts for the losses.
I find it funny because ive ran hundreds of landrovers on many calibrated dynos and they dont ever make the power landrover say.
It does make me think when i see other tuners Excel edited dyno graph make almost exactly 190bhp as per landrover lol.
Yes the flat spot i there as standard on all factory mapped D3's and RRS's, notice that ive done away with it in the tuning

I did start a thread a month or so agao thatmany people posted in with good results.
The aim is to help with economy but there are to many factors to take into consideration to guarentee it.
