That won't be covered by Tesco for sure as it is water ingress, it is a specific exclusion on all policies (item 16).
It states under excluded:
16. Water ingress (including damage to covered parts caused by water ingress).
If you only recently had the screen replaced then it is faulty workmanship and if you had it done by the dealer then it is their responsibility. I can't see you having to pay if it is a windscreen leak and they did it.

Mac
Sorry to hear about your pride and joy,
but if its being broke up i put dibs on the rear seats as mine is ' only a van' and could look well with seats back in
otherwise hope all work out well for you. Nine-tenths of wisdom is being wise in time.
Also appears 9/10 of stopping is stopping in time

cheeky boys.
The fuse box is out, and dealer covering costs , the box looks melted but not burnt and alot of the connections are green n furry through water ingress, loom seems ok and has had an initial check and is returning signals (whatever this means), so parts arrive tomorrow I have been promised.
Hopefully she will breathe again by the weekend, and keep the circling vultures at bay

think it will be wise for me to check ALL the fuses n relays for correct loading. And lucky I did'nt change the 10amp washer jets to 15amp as advised, that would have given them a get out clause

Eh? That advice is from TSB LA501-022. More likely to be a get out if you hadn't had it done. Time flies like an arrow; fruit flies like a banana

As Borat might say: High five! I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

The tune is removable via a box and the OBD socket, different side to problem, different circuit and I was able to remove the "enjoy" mode before recovery, so will think it can go back

I was thinking more along the lines of will it see it as the same car? (A bit like changing a motherboard on a PC - software codes itself to the PC hardware, if it gets changed the software coding thinks its a different PC). Disco 5 HSE Lux

The tune electrics wouldn't have caused the issue by any chance Mac would it?
Just a thought. I was a normal heterosexual chap, but in these new woke awakenings I now identify as a Wardrobe.
