Cheap but Good Spotlights
Just thought some might be interested in decent spotlights at a cheap price.
I liked the look of the LR ones but didn't want to pay £250+
I've just replaced mine as I had the originals filled with Tong lake.
[I ruined the lenses when cleaning with neat bleach]
They're 8" dia, have a stainless shell [IMO nicer profile than the LR ones]
Old ones were 55w, but the new ones are 100w.
So they'll be nice n powerful when I get them wired up
The glass is branded as Maxtel and supplied to my dealer from Bearmach.
All wires, switch & relay supplied.
Cost is below £50 incl delivery.

But the light covers have a square grill
[I trimmed off the unwanted spars and beefed up the remaining ones].
Also the bolts will need to be changed for fitting to 'A' frame.
There is a bit of faffing around, but they fit well.
btw, those who don't have an 'A' frame but don't want to bolt to the bumper, Al Cope has a way of fitting them through the grill.

I know the benchmark on here seems to be the Lightforce lamps but I have always been happy with Hella lamps, which are a lot cheaper.D4 HSE....Probably, but not quite decided yet.

Hi Ronp,
Just read tread again.
Would you have more details about those lamps?
Would you also have a experience back since December? Still happy?
I though the 100w are not legal? Can it still possible to wire them if you have only 1 battery?Arno

Got them all wired up in Jan!
100watts of power per lamp means I can see daylight in the night.
Not bothered about whether they're legal or not.
Unfortunately my supplier has gone bad [Bearmach have stopped dealing with him] and now I wouldn't recommend him....... always on the road less travelled 🚧
