You'll screw something up. Unless you know exactly what values to read, what those values mean and what scope there is to change them, you'll find yourself with a 2.7t paperweight. Seriously, just don't!
Plus there's nothing on here about reading CANBUS signals. Avoid with a long pointy stick.
And the ODB leads? No, not included.
In case it didn't come across earlier in this post..... NO!I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

and if yuo look at the bottom of te listing you'll see under notes for ebay staff...
The information and content on our DVD's is either produced and owned by us or is available in the public domain and licensed as either Freeware or under the GNU Open Source Licence
in other words, you could probably create a 2.7 ton paperweight without spending a penny if you wanted toSteve N | 21MY Defender | 08MY Discovery 3 (history) | 06MY Discovery 3 (ancient history)
go by the old adages of "there's no such thing as a free lunch" or "yuo don't get something for nothing" and that should help with the answer...
Okay - so 9.99 is exactly free...but its as good as in the world of chip tuning/remapping...The next American ex-pat that calls it a "truck" is going to find out what 2.7 tons feels like on their foot...

Here is a free demo of the tuning software i use for my tuning files.
Install the demo software and them import the original file, this will give you some idea of the extent of the knowlage needed to adjust and tune the ecu data files.
As you will see from the software there is no helpers telling you what to change and what to change from and to. that cd will be full of simlar programs that will be no use to man nor beast without the correct knowlage and more OBD cables.
Can you tell me what I do with the software now and can I borrow your cable for my paperweight project NoDo$h
If you sign an appropriate disclaimer I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

I think I will pass. Just a quick question though Iain on the serious side. If you service my motor do you stamp the service book? (sounds stupid but I presume you do) and does it matter with it still being in warranty? I need a service in 5k and a remap Global Warming.... I'm luvvin it

All services are to LR spec '+' using genuine parts and due to the EU block exemption rule, I am able to service any disco3 and preserve the warranty 8)
And yes, you'll get a coveted 'Offroad Essentials' stamp in your service book
