Hands Free Phone Connection |
|
Hi, I have just gone from a 300Tdi to a Disco 3, 05 SE model, (It is Norwegian registered so is not the same spec as a UK SE I think) Anyway, I had in my 300 a self installed Nokia CK-7w hands free kit, I want to fit this kit in the new disco also and have it that the radio mutes, phone comes through speakers etc, the radio in place is a CD400, can anyone tell me how to get this thing out so I can look at the options on the back for telemute etc, or does anyone have any knowledge of using this radio with bluetooth? Many Thanks in advance for your help.
Eamonn, Stavanger.

You need the Jaguar/LR telemute lead, then it should be fine. I can't remember exactly the one, but if you do a search for telemute, yoiu should get some results Bodsys Brake Bible

Easy peasy, the centre H trip removes & you can see the screws that keep the radio in, just be careful of the orange cables as their the Optical cables.
To remove the H trim, put your fingers at the bottom of the trim on the left hand side and pull (quite strongly, don't worry the trim is quite felexible) then do the same for the right hand piece.
Then the top will come oiut in a similar way, then lift the bottom and the top airvents will come oiut all in one piece.
