I've got the LR OEM rubber mats and they're not that shape.

I have the LR floor mats and as NJF says, they are a different shape. The rear one for example goes across the transmission tunnel giving better protection.
I need a boot liner as well, and can't decide if to get a rubber one like the one your looking at or a liner like this
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/LAND-ROVER-DISCOVERY...ms=72:1345|39:1|66:2|65:12|240:1318&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14[/url]
I have been told that 'cheap' rubber ones can have a bad smell compared to the genuine LR ones, but know if their is any substance to this.
Any body have any views over rubber matt v canvas liner or know a great product for the boot?

I find the canvas ones can slide about in the boot.

I got the genuine LR rubber boot liner.
Awesome - very very thick rubber, will last as long as the car probably - no nasty smells
Perfect fit, has pre-marked areas for cut-outs if you use the tethering points - can be rolled up if removed
Expensive, but I think it was worth it. 08 LR3 SE V8 - 02 D2 SE7 V8

I guess it depends what you normally carry. Mine had the OEM rubber mat - like people say really good, rugged, good protection.
If like me you carry wet stuff (such as scuba gear), I would recommend the OEM waterproof fabric liner (goes all the way up to the third row windows and back to the tailgate when open, fits like a glove but slightly fiddly to install - part no: VPLA50002). Combined with the rubber mat it gives excellent all round protection (either over or under it). You loose the load retaining points on the boot floor find you...
I was also tempted by the hard loadspace protector (part no: EBF500010) but a) couldn't justify 50 more and b) given the HSE I got had the rubber one, the flex gives good protection.
Admittedly I didn't investigate other brands...
Hope this helps...

I went with the Hatchbag Bootliner at £69.95 which seems very well made, is waterproof, black so you don't really notice it, wipes clean and easily rolls away if you want the third row of seats up. Delivery about a week as they make to order. If you want the bottom tailgate covered as well, add £15.

Can anyone with the "loadspace protector" (EBF500010) confirm if it can be folded at all? If it was in the boot and you wanted to use the third row seats I guess your stuck?
Can't decided which one to get of the OEM ones, I like the idea of the EBF500010 with the sides, but if I am out and about and want to use a seat in the boot I don't want to be stuck!

I have the rollable one and absolutely love it. The carpet in my loadspace is pristine. And easy to roll if you want to put up the third row (not entirely clear when you first get it, but you actually have to roll it from the side in order for it to fit properly in the boot behind the third row).

TP,
The genuine Land Rover load space protector with raised sides cannot be folded or rolled. It's either in or out I'm afraid.

Thanks Guys
I have found from experience that mud & stuff can fall down between the seats and its a pain to clean from under rear seats so before we go pushchair equipped in the summer I want to get some form of mat.
I like the big/rigid one the best as any water cannot run out, but I think if I can't move it to fit another person in the car it might annoy me. Might have to be the flat/rollable one I think (genuine, I see britpart do one now for £10-20 cheaper but it has BRITPART written on it in big letters which is a no-no in my book!)
