I have just connected my TMC aerial from my TT910 to my car's aerial and now it locks on almost instantly with the car on the front of my house.
I used two connection's from this website ( thanks to Wiggs Post ) http://www.nexxia.co.uk/Car_Stereo_fitting...aptors.htm a PC5-111 & a PC5-105, I then un-soldered one of the male ends and soldered that to my Tom Tom TMC aerial job done.
A lot better than having the wire at the front of the screen.

Pictures are always good to illustrate I believe that every human has a finite number of heart-beats. I don't intend to waste any of mine running around doing exercises.

Hi Flack, I'm want to do this also. Did you take any photos?
How did you connect the the TomTom RDS-TMC aerial? Did you pull/cut the black end off the lead and solder that or did you cut the cable short (I'm assuming you don't need the length now that you are connected)
I would greatly appreciate your advice on this.Discovery 3 2.7 V6 TDi | Manual | S spec | Zermatt Silver | 2006 | 20% tints to rear | Audio Connectivity Module | Nokia CK-15W car kit | | Xenons | Disco 4 LED rear lights
I have not got any pictures, but I just cut one end off the aerial splitter, then I opened the egg pod on the TMC lead and then unsoldered the aerial wires from the circuit board, as this makes it easier to reconnect it to the original plug if moved to another car.
This is a useful link ( http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/modules.php?...mp;t=75842 ) for the aerial job.. I have done mine with the capacitor because my first attempt only lasted two days and it stopped working, I don't know if this was the cause but at £30:00 a pop they are not cheap to fry them. I have checked and according to all the documents I have read there should not be any voltage in the aerial wire.
